Kennebec Super Trip
Best whitewater trip on the Kennebec River – morning run through 5 miles of intense whitewater in the Kennebec gorge, then shuttle back up and run the gorge and the lower Kennebec straight through.
Two gorge runs through famous rapids such as “Three Sisters” and “Magic Falls” and enjoy a satisfying ride down the lower Kennebec after conquering the gorge twice. Awesome day of whitewater, for sure!
Rafters choosing this trip should have prior rafting experience and be in good physical condition to enjoy this long and physically demanding day.
Price: Add $35 pp to regular trip price.
Hurricane Trip
This cool new trip covers the best seven miles of the Fife Brook Section of the Deerfield, including some aggressive lines through the biggest rapids “Hurricane Hole” and “Zoar Gap”. We will also stay and “surf” the “Hurricane Hole” until everyone has had their fill of thrilling raft dunks, dives and splashes. This new trip ends with a cookout lunch at our base.

Honesty in Pricing

- No "reservation" or "processing" fees
"Honesty in pricing" really isn't new at Crab Apple, but our guests need to know that we do not hide or add extra costs onto your trip or vacation. Some outfitters add a 2% "reservation fee" onto your bill. Others advertise a lower price on Maine rivers only to tell you later that, for example, the price does not include $11.50 of "river acces fees" that we pay to landowners on the Dead River. Our prices include snacks and meals as advertised. WE DO NOT REPRESENT ONE PRICE AND THEN NICKEL AND DIME (TRY $5 AND $10) YOU TO A HIGHER PRICE!
As you know, family members participate in all facets of our trips. It would not be easy to face our guests if we were adding these costs rather than being honest in our pricing to begin with.
