Whitewater Rafting for Schools: Education & Adventure Combined

You are a cool School Leader (Class President, Class Advisor, Principal, Coach, etc.) that wants to plan a unique experience for your staff and students. Can’t stand another museum tour or dusty day at a colonial encampment? Let’s go rafting!

Dozens of School Groups raft with our family business each season – graduation, class trips, clubs, and athletic teams. We ensure a simple booking process and all-inclusive pricing that make our trips easy to plan and manage. Our great staff of River Guides are in tune with the plan for school outings and will both entertain their rafters along the river as well as teach students about hydroelectricity, hydrology, local history, and local wildlife.

We entertain groups in vans and groups in multiple buses. No minimum numbers needed to qualify for school discounts at Crab Apple Whitewater.

Kennebec River Rafting

Weekdays: $87 per person
Saturdays: $97 per person
Sundays: $80 per person

Prices do not include $5 per person state and river access fees.
Discount tickets may be limited on prime-time days.

Project Graduation – Package 1: Ultimate Class Trip, $180 per person

Arrive at Crab Apple – get room assignments, bring belongings to rooms
Outdoor facilities open until 11pm include a heated pool, fire pit, lighted sand volleyball court, corn hole, horseshoes, basketball hoop, and bocci
Dinner at Crab Apple – pizza party or chicken/burger barbecue
Indoor facilities open until 11pm on the main floor include music, movies, billiards, karaoke, and board games
- Optional quiet area downstairs
Following day:
- Buffet breakfast
- Rafting on the Kennebec River
- Raft cookout at our base – steak, chicken, fish, vegetarian option
- Slide show of raft trip

Project Graduation – Package 2: Up All Night, $150 per person

Leave from graduation and stay up all night at our supervised base lodge
Outdoor facilities open until 1am include a heated pool, fire pit, lighted sand volleyball court, corn hole, horseshoes, basketball hoop, and bocci
Pizza party at 12am – pizza, dessert, soft drinks
Indoor facilities open all night on the main floor include music, movies, billiards, karaoke, and board games
