Deerfield River Monroe Bridge Section Trip Information
The Monroe Bridge trip delivers fast, powerful whitewater and big waves from start to finish, making it one of the most exciting rafting experiences in the region. Beginning just below the Monroe Bridge Dam in northwestern Massachusetts, the trip quickly builds from splashy, warm-up rapids into sustained, high-energy whitewater.
Throughout the run, expert guides keep the fun level high by playing the river; surfing waves, working dynamic features, and maximizing the excitement. Midway through the trip, there’s a brief riverside break to recharge, take in the dramatic forested gorge, and enjoy time with friends and family in a truly scenic setting.
As the trip continues, the rapids grow bigger and more technical, culminating in the most challenging whitewater of the day. Strong paddling, precise maneuvering, and teamwork combine for an unforgettable finale filled with massive splashes and adrenaline-pumping action.
After the run, guests return to Crab Apple for a hearty cookout featuring a variety of meal options, followed by a photo presentation showcasing the day’s most memorable moments. The Monroe Bridge trip is widely regarded as one of the premier whitewater rafting adventures in southern New England.
