Deerfield River Funyaks Trip Information
Set on a scenic, mellow stretch of the lower Deerfield River, our inflatable kayak, also known as a Funyak trip, offers the perfect blend of independence, excitement, and relaxation. These self-bailing inflatable kayaks are designed for one or two paddlers and provide exceptional stability and comfort, with plenty of room to stretch out on a soft, supportive surface. No prior kayaking experience is needed, making this an ideal way to experience the excitement of river paddling at your own pace.
This five-mile afternoon adventure features playful Class I–II whitewater, delivering just enough splash to keep things exciting without feeling overwhelming. Before launching, you’ll receive a thorough safety and paddling orientation to prepare you for the river and its friendly rapids, including favorites like Chicle River and S-Turn. Between rapids, enjoy calm stretches perfect for floating in the sun, swimming, or soaking your friends with the oversized squirt guns we provide.
Whether you choose to paddle steadily or drift and relax, this trip lets you experience the river on your terms. After your paddle, return to our riverside base camp to change, grab a snack, and view photos of your trip. For those craving a more personal connection with the river, there’s nothing quite like taking it on yourself. Try this solo venture and make this season unforgettable.
