Lower Deerfield River Family Raft Trip Information
Our Lower Deerfield Family Raft Trip is ideal for younger rafters, families, and adults looking for gentle whitewater and a relaxed way to experience the scenic Deerfield River Valley. This trip combines splashy fun with plenty of calm stretches, making it perfect for first-time rafters and those who want an easygoing river adventure.
The trip begins with playful rapids like Roger Rapid and Cold River Rapids, followed by slower sections where guests can float alongside the raft, cool off in the water, or splash other rafts. Along the way, our professional guides keep the experience engaging by sharing local history and leading fun, kid-friendly games that everyone can enjoy.
After rafting, return to our riverside base camp to enjoy a hearty meal overlooking the river and view photos from your trip.
This trip operates on limited dam release dates in July and August: July 10, 17, 24, and 26, and August 21 and 23.
