Whitewater Rafting Adventures for Scout Troops & Venture Crews
Hundreds, probably thousands, of Scout Troops have joined us since 1983. Scouts are always unique in their level of curiosity and anticipation before and during a rafting trip. We take Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venture Crews for fun-filled days on our rivers in Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
Volunteer leaders (thanks for doing what you do!) – we try to make the booking process simple and always offer all-inclusive pricing to make our trips easy to plan and manage. Crab Apple river guides make the trips personal, informative, and thrilling. Safe, clean, updated gear ensures everyone feels safe and comfortable on the river.
Pricing
Kennebec River Rafting
- Weekdays: $87 per person
- Saturdays: $97 per person
- Sundays: $80 per person
Discount tickets may be limited on prime-time days.
Dead River High Water Rafting
- $100 per person
- Discount Tickets Available: May 19, 16, 24 & 30, June 6, September 6, 19, October 3
Prices do not include state and river access fees ($5 Kennebec, $12 Dead River).
Deerfield River Fife Brook Section Rafting
- Spring (May 9–June 19): $78 per person
- Summer (June 20–September 6)
- Weekdays: $95-$105 per person
- Weekends: $125 per person
- Fall (September 7–October 4)
- Weekdays: $85 per person
- Weekends: $100 per person
- Mother’s Day Weekend (May 9–10): Mom’s raft free with two paying guests
- Juneteenth (June 19): $78 per person
- $95 Special: June 24–26, July 8–10 & 15–17
Whitewater Merit Badge
This full day program completes the Whitewater Merit Badge using our inflatable kayaks. The morning session includes discussion, instruction and on-water practice paddling the kayaks through specific maneuvers and rescue drills. The afternoon is a five mile paddle down a Class I-II section of the Deerfield River in our Funyaks. Some groups will add rafting to the day following their Merit Badge program for a full weekend on the river.
